Caring for the Carer

As a caretaker, you dedicate your life to supporting others and often put your own needs aside. In this writing workshop, you will be given the opportunity to focus on yourself and your well-being. Through guided prompts and exercises inspired by the AWA method, you will be encouraged to tap into your inner voice and to explore the unique challenges and experiences of caregiving.
The focus of this workshop is on using writing as a tool for self-discovery, reflection, and self-care. You will be given time and space to write about your experiences, feelings, and thoughts in a safe and supportive environment. We will work through the complex experiences of attachment and exhaustion, obligation and resentment, gratitude and satisfaction.  .
Whether you are a seasoned writer or someone who has never written before, this workshop is for anyone who is or was a caregiver (personally or professionally) and wants to explore the power of writing as a way to care for themselves. You don’t need to have a background in writing or to be an expert on caregiving to participate. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to use writing as a tool for self-care.
Join us for this rejuvenating experience and take the first step towards prioritizing your well-being through the magic of writing.
